Hotel Living!

We were so thankful that we found good renters for our house in Missouri that we agreed to move out as quickly as they wanted...so we were homeless for a month. Fortunately, Chris' company helped us by paying for the HomeWood Suites...we loved it there! They provided breakfasts AND dinners!! We went swimming everyday in the salt water pool and Lizzie really learned how to swim there! The water was nice and warm...thanks to the hot Missouri weather! The girls also loved the hotel because they gave us free microwave popcorn everyday and we let them watch movies at night. But probably their favorite part was that we let them eat Fruit Loops for breakfast every morning IN BED!

We brought some toys for the girls and they did really well entertaining themselves in a small space. Chris and I got into watching HGTV's House Hunters...since we were in that frame of mind!

First days of School in Colorado

Elizabeth's first day of preschool! She is going two times a week...she didn't cry when I dropped her off and she came home with stories about being the helper during snack time and learning a weather song!

Ali's first day of school...we were still living at Pete and Sheila's house in Denver so we woke up early and drove 45 minutes to school that whole week until we could get into our new home! It was kind of fun to live with my brother and his very pregnant wife! :) While Ali was in school, Elizabeth and I explored our new area. We went to the new library, 3 different parks, Target (yay, we have shopping close by us now!), we had 2 play dates with friends I used to know, played at ChickFilA, and she took a couple of car naps! :)

Ali's first day...she told her teacher she wanted to be called "Alexandra" (because she told me later that it sounds more princessy!) Her poor teacher had to change all of her name tags in the class! :) But Ali seems to like it...her teacher is wonderfully sweet!

Such a sweet three and a half year old! We looooooove you so much! Lizzie is coming home from preschool two times a week with lots of stories and she likes a friend named DeLaney!

We were so happy to be in Colorado now to be able to celebrate with our family! I got Ali out of school a bit early and we drove over to the hospital as soon as we heard! It was so fun to be there to congratulate Peter and Sheila! Both Mom and baby are doing well!
