Visiting Friends

We were so lucky to see our friends, Kari & John, and their beautiful kids in Arizona. It's so fun to reconnect with old friends. Thanks for having us over! We are so lucky to have such nice friends!
It was so great to see Sue (Kari's mom) again too...here she is with my mom and Lizzie.

ARIZONA

Yahoo!! We were so lucky to get to visit AZ in the warm weather! We arrived at Grandpa and Grandma's house and Alexandra immediately undressed, put on her swimming suit, and jumped in the water! Elizabeth followed and I didn't even have time to put her suit on the first day! We were so happy to be there and to see everyone!
Here's Grandpa one week and a half after having open heart surgery!! He is looking GREAT and recovering really well! We were SOOO happy to see him and give him lots of hugs! It was hard being so far away during his hospital stay so we were glad to see him in person finally!
Alexandra meets her very first cousin--NORA!! She was so excited to help out. She is so sweet with babies and gives them lots of kisses and attention! She didn't want Auntie Erin and Uncle Tony to take her home!!
Hi Grandma!! Thanks for everything during our stay!

Easter Bunny Visits our House

Alexandra did such a great job looking for eggs for herself AND helping Elizabeth look for some!

Their baskets were hidden in the washing machine and a corner behind a chair. Ali liked her Ariel painting set and Lizzie liked eating jelly beans!!

Dying eggs

Elizabeth was so excited...she understood what to do really quickly....just drop an egg into the cup! The little kids liked reaching their hands into the dye and afterwards their hands were all purple!
The big kids at their table...Alexandra made some pretty pink eggs!
After the eggs, we played with all of the toys in our neighbor's basement...Stephanie really outdid herself for Christmas...her kids got all of these toys this year for Christmas!

EGG HUNT!

Here are all of the neighborhood kids (about 25 kids came and 25 adults!) waiting to go out the front door to search for eggs. We had just finished giving them some ground rules (no fighting over eggs, find 15 eggs and then be done, etc)...it felt just like teaching kindergarten again! They were all so excited...it was too cute!

All the big girls in the neighborhood!!

Happy Easter!

All dressed up for our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt/Brunch at our house! Elizabeth is wearing the dress Ali wore in Auntie Erin's wedding and I found Ali's dress which matches at a kid's second hand store! How lucky!

New Hairdo's!

Chris and Ali went to Target last week together and while they were there, she got GUM in her hair! When they got home we got most of it out but she had made up her mind...she wanted to cut her hair! (I think she was getting tired of having lots of tangles and brushing all the time...she has a very tender head!) So, she sat on the bathroom counter and I cut 4-5 inches off of her beautiful hair! But I like the new do...she looks cute!
Lizzie has a new do, too!
So much easier to brush now! Hooray!
